Ah, the Empress. Don't you just love the grand old girl, Christine? I remember taking my sister and a friend to Victoria when they were 13 and wide-eyed (as 13-year-olds no longer are) to have tea and spend the night in one of the Empress's big, old pre-renovation rooms. A piece of BC history. -- K
