178. Goldfish

I was walking along a street and saw these goldfish. A trough was filled with fish instead of foundation plantings.  The water was filthy with cigarette butts, plastic bottles, bits of paper, etc.  Somehow the fish were thriving in this environment. The reflections cast were quite interesting.

Interesting reflections. You have to wonder how those fish survive.

I like these photos a lot. and your blog too. it's a really pleasant place to be - just a lovely design. the story of these fish is remarkable. I would think that it would be a rough environment for them, cold most of all. but I like the murkiness of your photos. have a great weekend.
