I love these flowers but I didn't know the grow so big. Mine is just a little one in a pot. These are excellent shot. Red flowers are very hard too capture with my camera.
They are gone in Vancouver too as we are in winter.

Thanks. I love camelias. They like the temperate climate here and can grow to be very big - over 6 feet. They are easy to grow - very low maintenance.
You'll see them in full bloom looking like they were stuck to the side of houses. Many gardeners didn't realise they would grow so big and didn't leave enough space for the plant.

Sometimes I have problems getting a true red too.
